    Yesterday. Caber 280

Today is first time I'm basically home. Have errands to do but not a big deal if I don't get to all.

I went back to bed after t f s and slept couple more hours. Now making phone calls to family who don't know what's happened. Changing dad's appt until I can be there.

Once the playpen arrives I will set it up in house and get Olive use to it. I will start getting her "luggage" together today.

Who's condo did I post that list to that was traveling? Now I need that list, have to go find it.I

There is a Wal-Mart 10-12 miles from hospital so at least there's that.

No hurry, got some time. I know most of the stuff but it's good to cross every off a list right before going out door.

    Is that it?

    Meter
    Strips
    Lancets
    Insulin
    Syringes
    Any other meds
    Food, treats
    Hypo kit
    Puppy pads
    Bowls or plates (spoon, fork)
    Wet wipes
    Paper towels
    Litter box, litter, kitty scoop
Empty plastic grocery bags (for trasg)
    ID tag and collar
    Leash
    Carrier, crate, or playpen
Blankie with smell of home on it
Print out current page of ss with blank rows to fill in (if no wifi)
Disposable gloves if you have them

Nice music choices and your knitting!!

One suggestion I saw when staying at a hotel. Put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. So no maid service but you won’t have to worry about Olive getting loose.

Great that the playpen is there already!
    Nice +8 for Olive!
If you use a rice-sock to help test, add that to the list since you have a microwave in the room.
    ETA add her auto feeder

Set up playpen to air out and start getting her accustomed to it.

No worries on that. I put her in it and she sniffed around. Tux tried to explore it and Ollie hissed at him. After t f s she walked right in and started grooming. I put a blanket in it, and she curled right up and is sleeping.

That playpen is so nice, I'm glad Olive likes it. Makes it much easier for you.

She doesn't like boxes. Actually none of my cats like boxes.

Nice playpen! And super nice that Ollie likes it! It looks like it will be plenty roomy even with LB, food, water etc. I think you will be glad you’re taking her. When my DH had surgery, I think I worried more about Scooter than DH. :)

I have NEVER heard of cats not liking boxes! You’re challenging everything I know :p ;)

I love the pics! Olive made herself right at home in the playpen, that must be at least a Small relief to you. It seems like even though a lot is going on, that everything is starting to fall into place :)
