Numbers: He gave me a surprise green last night at +4...wasn't prepared for that. Today would be a bounce I assume. Haha....put a little of Rain's food on top mixed in with his to slow his roll - high carb no wonder he wants it.

Food: He doesn't want his food, he will eventually eat it but he doesn't want it. He wants Rain's KD food which is high carb....I am really thinking of just giving it to him. I did buy a bag of YA and had it sent to my sister, she is bringing it up to me when she comes up for a visit next week. Will introduce very slowly and see if it upsets his tummy.

Weather: We had a heck of a rain storm last night with sound and lightening. It is sooo muggy right now. The prairies are usually really dry, so this is kind of new.

Today at work we are driving an hour and a half to Red Deer for a lunch celebration. Then driving back. Everyone else did a goose roundup today at the bosses golf course. They round them up, band them and relocate them to a wetland about 2 hours northeast of Edmonton. I was sent pictures, will upload when I can.

Hope everyone has a good Friday the 13th!

Nice to see that green last night. I hope Jones will stop being so picky about his food. Sending prayers.

One of my biggest pet peeves is kitties not wanting to eat food when they're obviously hungry. I'm so glad that Jones is at least eating his! That round up looks like fun! Do you go with them to drop them off on their new home or did you just help round them up?

Just round them up. They do it every year with a biologist. They are tagged and released back with their whole family. They try to be as gentle as possible.

Hey Tracey, since Jones ate some dry it could have been enough to get him addicted to the dry crack. I would try the YA and if he likes it ( mine love it) use it as a topper on his wet food to get him back to the wet ( I crush it up in a magic bullet). That's what I have to do some AM and PM meals when supplements for pooping are in his food and he detects them and won't eat. It might be enough to get him back on the wet.

We have to play hard ball with these dry food crack heads.

Good idea! I will try that when I get. It should last longer that way as I can't get it sent to Canada (rerouted to sister in Houston).

Nice job on the goose roundup ! I do the same only with raccoons, they are really tuff on the bird feeders. The only trick I have with the excessive peeing outside the LB is the house is now carpeted in puppy pads. Titan is doing better now that we are treating his UT staph infection. Good luck

Tracey, did you "save" a goose for me? Just saying is all.
It's not always easy doing the right thing, the stuffing is the hard part.
    Oh relax everyone.

The goose round up photos and the whole endeavor is wonderful. Happy dance all around.

Hope Jones’s appy picks up and that the ya and Bobbie’s idea helps.

    Have a good weekend.
