7/12 Recap:
AMPS 179 +4 201 +9 128
PMPS 138 +9 204

Thinking of Amy and her family and Elise and hers - sending vines of comfort.

Bah humbug - yellows are creeping in again. :arghh: Other than that, Neko's doing OK. though I just heard a complaint from the solarium. Mom- he's touching me. I bet it was the civie's fault. Appy was a bit fits and starts this morning, but she easily grows tired of Primal pheasant. Guess I'll have to go a little longer in between servings of it. She just came in to finish off breffs now so I expect we'll see CPC before I post this.

The beans are beat today. It was 1 K race practices today on the water. We have a regatta this weekend, which is one reason I'll probably leave Neko's dose as is, unless it gets really ugly. The regatta is close by, 20 minute drive and 10 minute hike to get there, so I can probably find a time during the day to check on her.

Her starts are a bit unappealing but at least she's making her way down pretty good :D Miss Neko, please play nice with Theo even if he is being a bit of a pest;)

Neko's not into playing with Theo and keeps telling him that. He's been in the house for 5 years and remains ever hopeful. :p She is pretty good at the whacking, but with her arthritis she's not into chase. Tag you're it - Hsss! Neko's enjoying her time on the deck, outside the solarium, without Theo.

A 1-K race must be a killer! Go as fast as you can.
Very true - depending on which boat I'm in, it'll take between 3 minutes 50 seconds to just under 5 minutes of all out. I much prefer the longer races where it's stamina as well as power. Saturday is 2-3 races, depending on whether we progress out of the heats (not expecting to) and Sunday is 1-2 races (likely 1). One of our club members got sick and we've had to redo a some of the races at the last minute, which means rowing against people younger than us in 2 of the races.

Little brothers are always pests. Big sisters should just get used to that. ;)

I'm just going to pretend I didn't see that AMPS so I can say "what a nice, blue day Neko had!".

I got exhausted just listening to your description of the regatta. I need to go lie down and rest. :p
