Yesterday...
2nd week of overnight work and again, it looks like Chino might break a bounce during the day, when I'm supposed to be sleeping. Sleep disruption never used to affect me this way. Between the missed alarms, sound/temperature sensitivity, and now allodynia, I am not amused. At least I don't have to be in the office at 1 AM anymore.
Yesterday, I started the last pen of the first box. In 2.5 to 3 months, when I run out of Lantus, I'm going to ask the vet to switch to Levemir. I hope it will help to flatten out the bounces, though if it pushes his nadir to the end of the cycle, that might be a problem. +8 is the only time I can test overnight (between doses of medication), unless I skip my meds and half a night of sleep.
