Question about not being able to monitor tomorrows AM cycle:

I will be unable to monitor from about +1 until +8 or +9. I typically feed at shot time and +6. Should I leave extra snacks in the auto feeder tomorrow? If so, would I just leave his normal food? My mom is going to check on the animals sometime between +4 and +5, but is unable to test Gizmo. I have a web cam set up, so if it works (haven't tried outside of house yet), I should be able to at least monitor his feeding. Thanks for your advice. I'm paranoid to leave him for such a long period of time. Not sure how I'm going to handle my return to work in a month and a half.

First, I would save the increase until you can monitor more closely, but there is a good chance tomorrow will still be a bounce day. So far this dose isn't really taking him anywhere dangerous anyway, so chances are he'll be fine. I would just leave normal food. If you are really worried, you could add a feed at something like +4 as well as +6, of his normal LC.

Gather data - figure out his patterns. Know where a dose is taking him. If you are this far along at a dose (depot full) and he's only seeing mid blues, chances are he'll be safe for the day.

I was planning on waiting until tomorrow night or even Thursday morning for his next increase. He has his vet appt Thursday afternoon, but I'm assuming that wouldn't matter. In my head, I figured he would be fine tomorrow, but I'm a worrier! I might put a treat in his feeder, just so I can catch a glimpse of him throughout the day. Thanks for the info. I feel a little better about leaving him tomorrow and a little less worried about returning to work.
