How nice that Murphy isn't a problem kitty when it comes to driving with you in the car! I wish Minnie was so cool about it:rolleyes: Baco is fine going to the vets but Minnie makes a real problem about getting in the car with me... Haha

Oh well that's really nice. But i'm not going to ask for it because Minnie is making this car ride bigger than it is... It's a 10 minute driveo_O:banghead: "please Minnie stop exaggerating" haha:p

Sometimes a flat yellow cycle means an exciting one to follow. Sometimes it just means flat yellow. :p I vote for still a bounce.

Interesting on using gabapentin for trips. When I tried it on Neko for her arthritis pain, it just made her sleepy. Which I guess helps with travel. I do Rescue Remedy before hand and Feliway sprayed in the carrier.

Its something all the human medications we can use on our pets. I thought gabepentian was used for human neuropathy. and giving to people detoxing off drugs.
Little Murphy waht a good kitty to travel to well.
I learned for Fritz who is super stressed out to cover his carrier and that calms him. I am going to do what Wendy mentioned wuth the rescue and feliway spray. I use the wall plug in feliway at home.

Yes, I think that is the idea - as I understand it, the dose for pain in higher - the 50 mg is just to "take the edge off" It really does seem to work - we do the 2 hr drive on a regular basis (once a week) and it has made a difference for Murphy's behavior in the car - interesting, he doesn't sleep though - just calmly sits in the carrier and looks up at truck drivers and the like The feliway in the carrier didn't seem to work although I still do it

Oh no - something foreign in his stomach? Any idea what that could be? Does he tend to eat stuff? I'm sorry Deb - I hope it's something easily taken care of
