Neko got her first taste of liquid budesonide today. She's not lapping it off the spoon, but is OK with it. Now we get to see if it makes any difference in her numbers. And to see what more consistent dosing can do.

Yet again late condo. Been running around shopping after a 16 km row this morning. I managed to get the last two tubs of the small size of Radcat lamb available in town, at 20% off. :cool: It is no longer being stocked. :( The larger tubs are too inconvenient for me as it's too much to thaw at once. Just when I find a fud Neko can eat, it disappears. :rolleyes:

Breffs was a little late due to the long row. I still got spontaneous purrs afterwards so all was forgiven.

Darn just when you get a food that agrees they stop making it or don't carry it anymore.

maybe they are stopping with it because of the voluntary recall that rad cat had ....

i'm sure you already knew about that.... and i don't think lamb was involved anyway....
 
20% off is always a great deal for cat food. I'm just sorry it was only discounted because they're no longer going to carry it. How frustrating!

The Radcat lamb was not part of the recall. They are still carrying the larger useless to me, size of tubs.
 
I almost sent you the annoying mother hen PM but refrained since Neko's SS was updated :facepalm::facepalm: Glad she took to the liquid and hope it helps with leveling out her BG's. It's almost impossible to get Radcat here and was told by the one store that the company is very difficult to work with. Luckily you have access to so many wonderful fresh choices. Keep purring Neko and hope you get some rest Wendy.

The really large tubs take a while to thaw. I don't like to have thawed raw meat for more than a couple of days. As it is, the small ones take over 24 hours. It's just not a good form factor for cat food. It would be easier if the civie could eat lamb - it seems not to agree with him.

I got stuck watching Le Tour this afternoon, with a cat on my lap.:) Thanks all for visiting.
