Nice blue this morning! I went ahead with his full dose of 3.25 units. I'm interested to see if he goes low today.:nailbiting:

This is day 3 on the new bottle of cabergoline, so I should be able to tell over the next several days if that was an issue. This time I transferred it to a different bottle which is making it easier to see and make sure it's shaken up well.
 
I seem to remember Chubba got what she suspected was an off bottle of cabergoline for her Gizmo. And his numbers started improving again when she started a new bottle. Good luck with the new med.

It definitely is helping. No question in my mind. When you look at his first 2-3 weeks on it, there is a night and day difference in his numbers. In the first 18 days on it, he had green every single day. He's NEVER had green like that before starting - maybe once or twice a week. He was on 6 units to start, and now he's on 3.25, with better numbers! He's clearing bounces much faster as well.

His haircoat is also MUCH better, and he's back to normal weight/body condition. His coat is finally silky soft again!

I hope you can get your vets on board! It seems silly not to even try, considering the low risk of side effects.
