Happy 4th of July !

We are having a great time over here with Willow staying in the green lagoon and a reduction to .75iu.
One month ago she was at 1.5iu and then something happened, she started heading into the lagoon. For my part I no longer panic and feed too much gravy. It took me awhile to relax and not overreact when she would have low numbers. Yesterday amps of 49bg and still shooting her took a lot of nerve and confidence. As one member pointed out, most would have not done this. Yet, I know my Willow and I was going to be home all day to check her and as you can see by her SS she did great. I was expecting a higher number today. Let's see what happens.

Question. This has happened before with the pen insulin, when I would get to the end it seemed stronger to where I was giving reductions. When I switch to a new pen I would have to increase her again.
I'm pointing this out because today is the start of a new pen. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July

Here is a photo from last night, what's the big deal?
Well, this guy is more my wife's cat and I'm the servent in our home. Starting about a month ago our two other cats started warming up to me, only took five years! They started coming and laying with me at night or when I was watching a movie. Last night he came into the movie room, hopped between my legs, dog his claws in, started purring and went to sleep. I took a photo for proof for my wife, she did not believe it either.
Before Willow would attack the other cats for coming near me, now she allows it. In fact the other morning I awoke to two cats sleeping next to each other between my legs and Willow sleeping on my chest. Thought I was dreaming until my wife woke up and said what's going on with the other cats.

It's great to see Willow doing so well and coming down the dosing scale. I hope she keeps surfing safely today. Usually most people find a new pen lowers numbers. Love the pictures. Nice that all the kitties are being more loving.

Happy Independence Day!
