Happy appy, snuggly, spunky, feisty, and anti-jinxes. Trix's appy did pick up nicely yesterday. Today seems similar - mid-range happy appy so far, with hopes that it will pick up as the day wears on. It's not a bad appy, just not where I prefer it to be.
My Dad's condition remains very poor. The biggest issue is that he just doesn't want to eat, and at this point it really probably has been too long. They drained the fluids again yesterday, and chances are he'll be released soon because they aren't "medically" doing anything there that can't be done at home. No one wants to sign the hospice papers, but unfortunately it needs to be done...he can't go home without any assistance.
Fortunately the nurse I was displeased with is now gone for 3 weeks. I made it clear to several doctors and nurses that that particular drug must only be used as a last resort...hopefully they are actually listening. It was to stop the hiccups; he didn't have the drug yesterday so he was more alert, AND he didn't hiccup once.
Time to get moving....prayers to everyone here....
