Whoops on the little too close to the sharks but glad Osha is surfing again! Emerald green definitely befits the Empress ❤️

I was thinking of switching to Levemir if this dose increase doesn't make his BG lower. Can you tell me why you switched & how is levemir different from Lantus?

I switched because after a year on Lantus, Osha was still a very bouncy kitty. She loved her rainbow of colors on Lantus. On Levemir, Osha is much much more flat. Levemir typically has a later onset and nadir than lantus. Osha would typically have a nadir around +4-6 on Lantus. On Levemir, her nadir is around +8-12 hours. I feel much more comfortable shooting lower numbers on Levemir than I ever did on Lantus.

Why do you think she mostly drops low in the AM & hardly ever PM?

I think she would drop low in the PM as well if I let her. I am not willing to stay up and test all night so I do a test before bed and if she is lower than I would like, I give her a bunch of food to keep her up.
