Nothing but blue and yellows the last few days. Dosecrease threat for tomorrow night has officially been issued. DH is shooting tomorrow morning, so I'd rather hold off on the increase until after that. Plus I've been mucking about with the timing of budesonide (didn't mean to) so want to go back to normal and see what happens. Speaking of mucking with dosing, I thought I'd given Leukeran last night, and guess which pill I found on the solarium floor this morning. Better luck this morning - I think.

I'm cautiously optimistic that I have my CPC cat back. We've been through several proteins and I think I've got an acceptable rotation now.

Neko, that is one VERY important pill you spit out! Don't do that again, okay? Very bad idea.

Naughty about the pill, but very good girl about your food! Keep eating, sweetie. It makes Mama very happy.

When I was buying the tablets, I would tip it into the little cup I use for that day's pills, then I could get it into the pill popper without touching it, but since switching to compounded capsules, my trick with the popper doesn't work, so I have to get the gloves out. Of course, if he spits it out, I have to get the gloves again, cause I don't leave them on. Do you wear gloves when cleaning the litter box? I was told to do that with all my kitties on chemo, including Harvey.

I wear gloves when scrubbing the litter box, but for taking clumps I just use the scoop. And of course any "flyover" on the pee pads I use gloves. Darn arthritis. One of the many the reasons I want Neko on pulse dosing of Leukeran is that you only have to worry for 48 hours after dosing and the rest of the two weeks is worry free.

I wear them when scooping, too, just in case something falls and has to be retrieved. It's become such a habit, after all this time. I buy them in bulk at Costco.

I may ask the oncologist about pulse dosing on Monday. I would like to see if it makes a difference in Harvey's appy.
