After China's quick dive into shark infested waters last night, she almost bounced to 100!!

So far, so good on the reducie. I know I only dropped from the F1.5 to 1.5U, but it still felt like a lot less insulin this morning...of course compared to the 2.75 she was on in March, there's a major difference!

@Judy and Boomer ..I wish China liked laser pointers but she just looks at the dot for a few seconds and then ignores it.....if she can't actually "catch" it, she ain't chasing it!!

@Doodles & Karen ...yes, she's still getting at least some exercise every day....On our spreadsheet, I'm putting an "x" in when we have our "workout time", but it's getting a lot harder to get her moving....she's bored with the toys I have and I'm totally out of ideas for anything else. I've spent hours searching online for something different. But at least she's moving some! And it seems to bring her BG numbers down a few hours after exercise

Maybe I'll go to a pet store and buy her a mouse....I know she'll chase that!!

That's nice to see China's spread sheet. Sounds unfair to see all that green but still needing insulin.

Ever tried buying real mouse for China to hunt ? After all some are feeding their snake with these, why
not a cat ? ;) Just take some fishing cord and let her go, China will catch it up fast, pretty sure !!!

Plus, it's very low carb !!

Give that a try, China might become an Olympic champion !

Show off!

OK, so you buy China a mouse. The mouse wins the chase game (every mouse in this house, save two, have outsmarted the cats; even when I had 8 cats!). Then, of course, you've got a mouse in the house. Somewhere.

That girl sure is showing the rest of us how this dance is done! I'm thrilled for you Chris. And China, too.

LOL...China's a really good mouser...except she just plays with them...unless they happen to die from fright, eventually she gets bored carrying them around and puts them down...if they're smart enough to just sit there, she'll walk off and leave it

So yeah, you're right...as much fun as she'd have with it, I'd just end up with a "house mouse" and I really don't need any more pets

That makes me proud of Small Kitty and Big Brother. I knew I wanted cats when I moved from a shared apartment
to have my own one. Something like a 1 week after I was settle down I was watching tv when a mouse showed up
straight in the living room... I designed an electric trap working on 110 volt, I killed quite a few but they kept on
coming. When a pregnant cat got dumped by her owner I fed her for the entire pregnancy. When the kitties stopped
needing their mother I catch all 4 of them in a big travel case and brought them home. The owner took the mother
back, one kitty destroyed the coach and went, Big Brother and Small Kitty found a new home. Within less then a month
there was no more mice in this apartment, my mice killer setup went on retirement.

How does she do with wind up toys? Or little robotic ones? Something you could "drive" around, maybe, for her to chase, like a small RC car? Just brainstorming.

China, where did you find that little tiny trampoline? I can think of a few kitties that should try that one instead of the ones they're using now. ;):D

I've seen those....the problem is I have carpet throughout the house except in the kitchen/bathroom and neither of those are big enough to really do anything in. They don't run real well on carpet :(

Stand at the bottom of the stairs. Toss a ping pong ball off the wall at the top of the stairs. Cat goes running up the stairs to catch it on the bounce. Repeat.

When I had an overweight spaniel (very cute so all the neighbours gave her treats), the vet suggested I take her swimming, holding her gently near the shore so that she stayed in one place and paddled. Worth a try, and a lot of scratches and stitches.
