Good morning!

I was hoping for a lower number this morning. I hope she will slide on down a bit.

With school starting, I just couldn't stand the idea of waking up early to the door scratching every day. I bought a baby gate and put it up about a foot from my bedroom door. We had success last night without any door scratching! I do wonder though how long it will take her to realize that she can jump over the gate. She is a floor dweller and her jumping skills have decreased over the last couple years, but I know if she tried, she could get over it. Paws crossed that she just leaves it alone!

Have a good day!

Here is a picture Sébastien took of a hawk when we were at the Montreal Botanical Garden

:D

She did figure out how to open the feeder. What ever you do, if she does figure it out, don't feed her! You will be doomed if you do. :p

She is looking so, so good Amanda!

Nice hawk pic!
We used a baby gate for years when we had cats who were fair jumpers, but they never figured out they could jump over. Maybe they just weren't very smart cats... :D

A trick I have done in the past is stacked baby gates, one on top of the other. That usually keeps them on the side you want them to be. Even my old arthritic Buster (GA) figured out how to climb/jump a single level baby gate.

Surf nicely today Osha.

Oh, I NEVER feed her when she scratches. I won't feed her if she figures it out. ;)

Thanks. I am really happy with her numbers and how well she is acting and feeling. :cat:

Lol :cat: Osha figured out pretty quickly how to open the petsafe5 feeder. When I started to duct tape it closed, that is when she broke her teeth trying to get in. o_O No more feeder for us. Those canines are expensive teeth she has!

This is a GREAT idea! Thanks Wendy! :)

Nice hawk photo @Photorecon

Nice flatish cycle for the Empress. Next color pallet is green!

School, ugh, hope the gate keeps her contained.
Sébastien @Photorecon is probably disappointed I didn't post the pic of the hawk eating its dinner  yuck;)

I have my fingers crossed for green.

I think I am just going to order another gate and stack them as Wendy suggested to halt the idea of jumping over and scratching :stop:
