I'm back from my trip.
Willow was surfing blue green the whole time I was gone. Unreal the size of reduction we did and so far it is sticking. We are currently at .25 from 1 iu. How great would it be where one day we would no longer to have to give her insulin?
My off road trip was amazing and sad.
We went to 9876 feet high up in the sequoia National forest, seen a big bear one morning run across a dirt road, got to see a lot of deer. Just about rolled over backwards in my jeep and had to use my winch to hold the front end down while going up and over that obstacle.
Our last day ride home we came across a dog in the middle of the trail (middle of nowhere). She was badly injured, looked like her front leg was broken for sure and she had been hit by a car. We had no cell service, we put her in one of the jeeps and headed down the mountain. It was a good hour before we got into cell service again, called my wife to have her find a vet near to where we were. Closest one 45 minutes away.
Unfortunately the dog died in route to the vet. Very sad moment for us. We thought for sure she was going to be okay.
