Another blue start for Ollie. She was so alert this morning, sitting there waiting for her breakfast. Most times she is just laying or sleeping.

Sprayed wasps again. This spray (Raid) really did the trick. The other spray worked well on the ground nest but not to good on the reel nest. But then it rained overnight so wasn't sure if it washed it away. No wasp activity this morning though it is a bit early.

At +2.5 we leave for husbands visit with primary dr.

Have a good day all.

Looking good, Olive!

Great news about your husband. It does sound like he was very lucky!

What is a reel nest? We have wasp this year that have made a nest behind a terra cotta sun that I have hanging on my back porch wall. I see them flying in and out of there and last night SIL heard a humming coming from there! I've ask DH to take care of it. All we need is for Mom to get stung or Bubba. He is allergic to Yellow Jackets but not sure about wasps. I don't want to find out.

Garden hose reel that previous owner mounted under the deck. Husband took hose off it so it left the spokes open. The wasps built their hive in the spokes. It's hard to knock it out or scrape it off until the wasps are gone.
