Last Time at Tricia's House of Chaos
Crazy couple of days with no time to sit down and write a condo. Sorry. Vet appointments both days, lots of driving and kitty uncooperativeness. We're all still here, though.
Cinco had some great cycles over the past couple of days, and looked like he was headed for another today, but going to the vet kinda put a cramp in his style. That +5 was taken by a vet tech, so no idea what it would have been at home, on our meter. Since they were drawing blood for a T4, I asked them to grab a test, which they obligingly did. During Minka's acupuncture session, I gave Cinco a snack and then let him explore the room. He ran into an obstacle (I think it was a u/s machine on a stand) and decided that was enough exploring. He plopped down and went to sleep.
Dr. Kress couldn't get over how calm he was. As long as he's not in a carrier, he doesn't care where he is.
Sasha got her follow up x-ray yesterday, and that blob in her throat was almost completely gone (just a little speck, the doctor said). They'll wait for the radiologist's report to give the all clear, but we're pretty confident it was nothing to worry about.

We saw a different oncologist from last week, so he wasn't sure if the mouth sore was better or worse. We were there late in the day, and Dr. S (who had seen us last) was already gone, so he couldn't ask her. He took a picture of it and said he'd show her today and see what she thought, and would also show it to someone from Dentistry (they were also gone) to see if they felt there was action to be taken. He's supposed to let me know today, but I haven't heard from him yet. He told me to send an e-mail if I didn't hear from him by late this afternoon, so I just did so.
Still no word on Cinco's biopsy results. Now I guess we'll have to wait until at least Monday.

Minka's appy was poor yesterday and worse today. Not even baby food would tempt her. I wish the acupuncture had helped her like it did Vyktor. I syringed a little over 6 cc when we got home so I could give her all her meds. She ate about a tablespoon of baby food after that, but nothing since. If she won't eat dinner, I'll be syringing some more. I'm wondering if she's a little constipated, as her poos have been harder and drier than usual, and smaller. I rubbed some coconut oil on her paw yesterday for her to lick off, and today I gave her some hairball medicine (she's had a hairball ever three or four days lately). I just don't know what else to do. She won't eat pumpkin or squash or tolerate any supplements in her food. She was definitely nauseated this morning, but doesn't seem to be as bad this afternoon. Very frustrating.
Sasha's appy is just okay. But it's been so hot the past few days, and she lives upstairs, so I'm not worrying too much. I still think the sore is affecting it, too.
Harvey is hoovering right along.
All this running around has left me even more behind in my household chores, so I need to get moving. Hope everyone is having a good Friday.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans.
Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF and DH, Marje's DM, Chris' DM, Molly's DM, and Elise's DM.
