Yesterday Healing vines to all our friends in the US, we Canadians stand with you. Good afternoon everyone! When we got home last night Leo was still a bit wobbly from the anesthetic but it didn’t take long before he b-lined to his food bowl! Poor kitty was starving since he hadn’t eaten in 24hrs. He refused his food at the vet and told them what he thought of them by hissing at everyone that came close to his cage! It's so great to have him back home. He woke me up at 5am this morning purring and walking all over me so it seems like he’s back to his old self again and putting those scary few days behind him! Thank you all so much again for the support! I know some of you have been through 100 times worse things with your fur-children.
It is wonderful to know Leo is happy to be home! Still makes me laugh about his hissing Sure, people go through harder things, but that doesn't mean what you went through wasn't hard too! I get it. Please give that boy extra love from us, and tell him he's a cool dude He speaks his mind!!
Thank you! Leo says he loves that Tina's in his corner and next time she goes to the vet, he'll send her some virtual hisses she can use to keep the bad scary doctors away!
So glad to hear that he's back to normal. It always surprises be how quickly they get over vet stress once you get them bank home. They act as if nothing at all happened. My civvie went yesterday for his yearly check up, he's normally chill but he must have been channeling Leo cos he even had a bit of a hissy fit at them while they were drawing blood.
Ah ha! I took a civvie last week for a checkup, and she protested greatly when they were trying to draw blood. She was sending notes to Leo and Dierdre's civvie to tell those folks they are bad people for hurting kitties! With mine, they blew her off as being one of those feisty calicos!
Glad to hear he's home and happy! Luci was hissing at everyone when she was at the vet too...I guess they just don't like anyone but us mama and dada beans to get near them
I read back through your condos and sorry Leo had to have a dental but so great no extractions!! i’m glad he’s feeling better and he ate last night.
So glad that Leo is home and is safely away from all those new smells and new people from yesterday. Has he shown you his teeth yet? I hope this helps get his levels back to lower numbers. Big to Leo
Yes! They're very nice and clean! I get a really good look when I give him AB's twice a day! Glad I'm not a vet while my fingers are in his mouth! Thank you and to you and Yoyo!
