Yesterday

Tina was green for a long while yesterday. Instead of getting more tests to prove green, I fed when I might have tested, plus I got to shoot an 88 last night. That pre-shot number did surprise me, but it was fun to shoot. I might should have poked more, but it worked well I think. A bit higher AMPS means she might drop better back to green! It happens.

Against my initial feelings, I posted this date, but I don't like it. Then . . . we can't let a date be stolen.
May God bless --- in many ways, seen and unseen.

The vet tech just called and said the urine was good and clean, with no glucose either. She acted quite surprised, and said to keep doing what I'm doing. She said if more outside the box things happen, to bring her in for possible cystitis. So, I will continue the D-Mannose to be safe.

My thought last night was maybe she was less comfortable in her lower spine and hip. I might have been too anxious to get her off Metacam. So I gave her .3 last night, and she is better again (was down to .1 then none). I've found no help with less than .2.
Could that have been why she wasnt getting in a box? Makes sense I think.
I'm bonding too much with Tina. Crazy good though, until others need attention!

Hope Tina continues to improve!

Nice night for Tina. Sorry to hear she's a bit wobbly in the legs. Hope that will improve with better BG's.

She is much better with the Metacam I gave her last night. Great today actually. I messed her up by taking it away, but I don't like the idea of using it forever! She has a slipped hip (real medical terminology, I know!) and spinal stenosis, and the NSAID helps a lot. I was hoping the CBD could take over and she wouldn't need the Metacam. I rushed the attempt.
She had so much neuropathy improvement, almost every day, then improvement stopped. Because the Metacam wasn't on board.
She had a wonderful, alert day. Doing lots! Oh, and she does not like turmeric.

All but one of my cats love being brushed. They come get in line! You are right, its so important not to neglect the healthier kits. Good reminder:cat::bighug::bighug::bighug: I sure hope to hear of improvement from you and Amethyst. I want to hold her:rolleyes:
