in some ways I'm glad for a high AMPS today since I'll be gone with the rest of the crew for most of the day

we'll be leaving in a couple of hours so I can check Catcat before we go, and make sure he has plenty of food to tide him over -- will grab a chunk of frozen chicken so he doesn't scarf it down all at once

I guess it's not that much different from those who work 8 to 6 ... more realistic than the "9 to 5" cliche, since I never worked those short hours in my working days -- oh yes, then add on commute time ...

should be an interesting tussle between the Huskies and the Rainbow Warriors; supposedly we'll be in some sports bar or another --

J&J have things they want to do in Olympia, 45 minutes away or so, hard to say if they will be done with whatever, in time to drive back here; Chris may join us when we find out where we'll be

Catcat promises to hold down the fort which means he'll watch whatever is going on, Blake-the-dog will be the security system

"for it's one, two, three, four downs and you kick the ball away" -- nope, doesn't match the original tune

James and JoAnne were so embarrassed by the Huskies routing the Rainbow Warriers, that they insisted we leave the sports bar at halftime

don't even know how the game turned out, priority one when we got here was test feed shoot, since it was THAT TIME already

ETA, game still has something like 11 minutes to go in 4th quarter, UH 20 UW 45 .. at least they didn't get skunked

Catcat back in the pink, will see how it goes tonight -- things to do here, maybe be back later

oh we stopped by the cider mill country store, they were frying up fresh apple fritters, first time I had one fresh out of the fryer, and oh so good

James was going to get us all cider donuts, then he saw what else was in progress ...

had some complimentary apple cider as well, and watched a bunch of kids playing with a bunch of bunnies (for sale), at least four of the rabbits went home in the arms of kids, parents supervising -- all sorts of canned specialty stuff on shelves, can you believe pickled quail eggs ????

+3 = 329, not much diff from PMPS at 319 -- I definitely see a difference when we don't space out his small meals .. seems much better when fed every couple of hours, nudging his pancreas not clobbering it

there's a sad sort of clanging from the clock in the hall
and the bell in the steeple too
and up in the nursery an absurd little bird
is popping out to say cuckoo
(cuckoo -- cuckoo)

regretfully they tell us
but firmly they compel us
to say Good Night
to you ....
