Still so saddened about the losses of dear Uncle and Callie and sending love and healing to their mommas.
So, I was beginning to think that Taffy was getting into a slump with his dose, and thinking we would be increasing, but then yesterday he gave me a 97 at AM preshot. So, okay. But, then he continued to climb all day & night.
I was late getting his shot this morning bcuz I have an annoying cold and had taken nyquil. I don't know if that explains his numbers today, but he made a pretty huge drop by +2.25 and then I was passed out again and he was snuggled under the bed. I finally coaxed him out for a test and got the 35!!! Had a gravy meal and came up to 45 and I am checking again in just a moment.
So it seems that he gets a reduction for tonight. Unless anyone thinks that his numbers are due to the late shot and are not "real" lows...??? I am actually thrilled to have him going down the dosing scale again and clearly his therapy with S. Boulardii is doing something, but his poopies are still not nicely formed, but maybe he is still getting healed in his intestines. After months of being stalled up at 1.75-2.0 and no great numbers, he is back to his old roller coaster ways of ups and dramatic downs. Although the ups don't seem too high.
