Wiley has had lots of green again today. I don't think I will shoot tonight. Should I do another reduction tomorrow (down to .25u)?

The first time he was diagnosed, he was OTJ within a month. This time he has reduced his BGs quickly again (we are only on week 3), but his "symptoms" don't seem to have diminished very much. His water intake and output are still pretty high (may be a very slight decrease- I've been weighing the water dish and his output using a special scale that does under the litter box). He also has a weird appetite- he acts hungry but then won't really eat. He has lost weight (3/4 lb in 3 weeks). Are these perhaps just symptoms of his kidney disease? He is scheduled for another blood panel on Wednesday. Thoughts appreciated!

 

You might want to get his thyroid checked too....hyperthyroid has a lot of the same symptoms as diabetes
