Lately, Jenks seems to have an "on" day, where he goes green overnight and for a portion of the day, followed by an "off" day where he ends up running higher. Today looks to be the "off" day after yesterday's 10ish hours in the green "on" day. Mild 100s last night and for a half cycle today, then up to lower yellows. If the pattern holds, we should take a deep dive to the greens overnight.

What is Jenk's feeding schedule? I have seen it suggested to give a bit of food around +9 to see if that helps keep them from going higher at PS. It is strange that it is only the PMPS that is higher because it is usually the AMPS that are the higher (well, he is a cat :cat:). I can't explain it so I hope someone else will chime in. I give Gizmo a small snack at +7.5 but that is because of his pancreatitis and stomach acid.

Jenk's numbers look great!

Aaaaaand there's the deep dive, right on schedule.

@LizzieInTexas - Don't fret, Jenks defies explanation. But thank you regardless for stopping by with suggestions! One of Jenks' many quirks is that it looks like he has one cycle spread over 24 hours, which is the only explanation I have for why he peaks at PMPS.

We put food out four times a day. Two shot time times, and then two midcycle meals. I haven't tried a late cycle snack, but my concern would be that he wouldn't be hungry again at shot time if he had a snack with only 3 hours to go because he's just not a big eater to begin with. But it's definitely something to consider because nothing else we've tried has worked! :cat:

Wow, a whole 5 points in 3 hours Jenks? Even after all this time, I get nervous with him going into the fasting period to AMPS just barely in the 50s. I know the data indicates that he might rise some in final hours, but I can't gamble with OH's morning shift if he decides to drop way down in the first quarter like he is capable of doing. Like it or not, I gave him some gravy so we can at least have a little buffer zone for any early morning action.
