So I currently have a problem.... I REALLY have to pee, but this panther looks so content sleeping... RIGHT behind my chair at my desk.:D:rolleyes: I can't interrupt what looks like some serious comfy time.

The vet called yesterday, but my cellphone never rang. She left a voicemail and said there were a few things she wanted to discuss, but nothing major. One of his liver results is slightly elevated, but no protein in the urine. Pancreas enzymes were a little high, but it wasn't a complete fast so probably nothing. He does have some bacteria in his urine so he is going to get some AB. I'm glad I got the probiotic ordered to help the gut flora while on the AB. I am going to try to pick up the labs today and wait for her to call later today.

He didn't listen to @Gussie's mom and decided shark territory is fun, especially since he gets fuds. Slept right through the test I wanted to give at +9, glad I loaded him up on some MC.
His dose is all over the place the last few days, between my brain fog and him living up to Capt. unpredictable I'm sure the depot is quite confused. Hopefully we can find a nice steady dose for him soon.

Off to try to get some work done, and hope the panther moves soon.

Never disturb an upside down sleeping Capt. Jack for sure :) Sounds like good news with the BW but nothing indicating why he's losing weight :( Hope you both have a calmer day.

That's so cute. I hate to bother a sleeping kitty. I'm glad the b/w was good, but I hope you can figure out the weight issue. Hopefully the AB takes care of the infection. Sending prayers.

How is the investing in coffee companies going? Too bad Jack can sleep but you can't. At least the 9 unit depot should be out of the system by tomorrow.

Is the vet culturing the urine? That's the only way to find out what bacteria is present, so you can treat with the proper AB. Look forward to seeing the b/w, glad it's pretty good.

He sure is keeping me up, I thought tonight might be better finally seeing a yellow, but he is back to dropping again. Time will tell if tonight is another PJ party. Interesting he has dropped this much right after starting the gabapentin.

I got impatient and picked up the lab results from the vet. Looks like they missed a page as there is no urine info and some other stuff is missing. It should get cultured, they did the last time he had bacteria in the urine. Vet prescribed Orbifloxacin for 10 days. He had this before, in my notes it was due to high neutrophilis. The last time he had a UTI he got zeniquin.

His ALT/AST has gone up, but not as high as when he first got dx'd with diabetes, something to probably watch though. Otherwise nothing sticks out too much on the results I have. I'll have to go back to pickup the missing page.
