Vetty vines and tumor shrinking vines for Peggy Sue! I hope all goes well again for this appointment! let us know what the vet says about how things are going :) just one more treatment after today left!!

Thank you all so much! Peggy Sue did very good today. Dr. said he can see some of the tumor in her mouth has shrunk! The bad news is she is still losing weight!:( She eats really good. I give her an entire jar of Organic chicken baby food every morning.
She eats a spoon of raw food or canned every few hours. The cancer burns up the sugar in her body causing weight loss. Her carbs are very low so I don't know what else I can do. I've been searching the Internet & haven't found any solutions yet.

Well really you are doing what you can by treating the underlying condition causing her weight loss. I am so happy to hear that the Doctor noticed another shrinkage in the tumor... that is great news! If it clears up then I think you will see Peggy Sue gain her weight back! it's very positive to hear that even though she is losing weight that she has appetite! You're doing such a great job Joy! Peggy Sue is so lucky to have such a kind and caring Mom :) :bighug:
 
So glad things went well today at the vet for Peggy Sue! And Ravan! Isn't he full of surprises...he and Luci must have been playing 'daredevil cat' out there in the lagoon today...she pulled out one of her famous dives for me today...these kids!

Can't believe those positive vines are working :joyful: Such great news that the tumor is shrinking !
As for the weight loss, I think the main thing is that Peggy Sue is eating; once the cancer goes, her body will benefit from nutrients and she'll stop losing weight; that's how I see it!

He is doing good. Biting is still an issue but maybe(?) getting a bit better.

I am so happy to hear PS is doing well with the chemo. Not sure what to do about the weight loss. Weruva grandmas chicken soup is 20% carb. Maybe high protien? IDK but lots of hugs :bighug:

Frankie is nearly grown! Looks like he has large paws ,maybe he'll be a BIG Kittie? Just beautiful :joyful:
Frankie stop the biting :stop::stop::stop: ) I read that if they have a companion,someone to play with they won't bite you. Maybe a friend would be a good idea so he can get exercise & have another kitty to cuddle with?

Peggy Sue can't have high carbs.Cancer feeds on sugar from the carbs that's why they lose so much weight. So it's protein & fat that she gets. I offer her food every few hours.
