I was reading on Judy's post what you wrote about hummingbirds. I finally got 2 Hummingbirds to come to my feeders but the wasps have invaded!

Do you know of anyway to prevent the wasps from going on/in the feeders? I had about 3 inches of sugar water in one & they have drained it!!

We have the same problem, I use feeders with bee guards so the wasps are not getting any liquid but they still look for it. I've noticed the wasps and Hummers will both be on the feeder, the Hummers do not get stung. I haven't tried a wasp/bee trap but you might want to hang one close by the hummer feeder and see if that helps. Maybe next year? The young Hummers will be leaving in a week or so. adults left a few weeks ago and the youngsters are not territorial so they easily share the feeder with one another.
