Yesterday. Caber 336

And she has a beachy morning today.

Had a woodworker here the other day. Local person, very promising. If we can get everything coordinated he can have cabinets done by end of November. He can do the edge I want. Of course this dang upper cabinet is still and issue. I wanted 2 oversized doors instead of the 3 it has now. But because it will be longer 54" a support will be needed and won't be centered if we keep 3 doors. So now it's at 4 doors. I

I have appt Tues to see the one down the road to check the wood she has. I love the hickory @Sue and Luci has if I can get it in light color. And then with the medium hickory floor I have picked out it will look great.

Oh yes! That sounds wonderful! PM me if you want details about the cabinets - I can look up the colors, style, etc.

after all these years, still loving the cabinets we got at Eagle Hardware -- plain solid oak with rounded corners, so much easier to keep clean -- no knobs to run into or catch things on, open pie-shaped shelves at the ends of the upper cabinets to hold canisters -- instead of lower cabinets I have big drawers, got that inspiration from my grandmother who had dressers in her kitchen rather than cabinets -- got a couple of narrow cabinets too, for trays, cookie sheets, pizza pans, to stand on end, and a spin-around cabinet in the one corner

so I'm rooting for you to get exactly the cabinets you want -- just make sure the hinges are sturdy enough -- one house I lived in, the hinges were always coming loose or sagging (early "European" style hinges, not well engineered)

It sounds like you have such a great mind for these things Paula! I can't wait to see pics of the finished project... or rather I hope to see pics of the finished reno :)

Olive is off to a nice start today :)

Do you have pics you can post? No knobs or handles?

Ok so Ollie has been climbing my leg since breakfast. Has had her 12 hr cycle of food in by +4 and still climbing my leg. Maybe a test is in order because she dived. Nope only went down 4 points. She is going to be PIA today.

Very nice Ollie!
Good luck with the cabinets! Can't wait to see pictures of the completed project (make sure you take before pictures too)!

How exciting to get new cabinets! Our next project is a kitchen remodel.
Thank you Paula for getting us on the gourmeds! The change has lowered Tina's rises already! Thank Ollie too. I have to crush them; she doesn't think she should eat it (even in two pieces) like a treat;)

Ollie is pleased Tina likes them. Ollie eats it right up. Tripper's I have to crush.

Ollie has been super hungry AM +1-+6 today, are so much. She was even playing today. The q 8 hrs of bupre seems to work better for her. Maybe cutting out all the stuff to keep her pooping and only getting glandex now is helping I don't know. She hasn't gone yet today though.
