    I have an acro cat and i gave him the wrong insulin.
    He was 400 at 745am
    I gave him 13u novolin R.
    He usually gets 13u levemir and 1u novolin r.
    Please help

    I would test in 30 min. to start and you're going to have to test hourly and get ready to go to the ER if needed. Do you have honey & karo etc?

    You will need to stay on top of testing him. You are going to need to carb him up a lot if he starts to drop fast and low! Do you have some High carb gravy food? The novolin acts fast and harsh drops. I would call an emergency animal hospital too for their input and they might want you to bring him in and give intravenous glucose .

    On the Levemir what was the low BG for the day?
    My aero MurrFee was on 30 units Levemir together with 20 units N
