Where previously Alice was constipated, on lactulose, added pumpkin, finally had a bowel movement Monday morning, has low potassium, back to vet, a night of food and rest and medicine

This morning I’m thrilled to see her lift her head and hold it up (somewhat, still a little low). My heart lifted. She’s back to spending time in bed with me instead of her closet basket. I have been concerned that she might not show improvement because it’s just been so much for her... it’s wonderful to see her recovering.

Shot is in an hour.
 
She has been running a big ugly black HI all day and I am starting to wonder if I had a fur shot this morning. Also she has not had another bowel movement yet. How long should I wait until I try to give something extra besides pumpkin? She is drinking water, she is eating, she is active. She has jumped on the bed and she got excited when I opened the window too. She’s actually pretty cranky right now (probably because her BGL is a thousand or something!!!)... I keep having to push away anxious thoughts about all the damage this is causing her poor little body in the long term. Hope everyone is well. <3
