I was disappointed in that the morning driving of the human to job site ran late and therefore did not allow me to bump her shot back 15 minutes as planned.

Otherwise normal shot of 2u....
but she surprised me and for the first time in a very long time managed to overeat and throw up. Just her basic friskies, and she was still hungry after again some, and her tummy I could feel had food. I don’t think she is sick but worth noting just in case.

Alice is sturdy and happy and so are all the other furbabies, and the day is rolling, and I had a nice time on my rural highway drive and Tom Petty discography I’ve been working through. :joyful:
The clothes washer just went on strike..... but a friend is trying to fix it. Cross your fingers for the sake of Alice’s pukey meaty towels!

Hope all the sugar kitties are surfing nicely, and that those with recent losses are finding pieces of comfort in their day. <3

Alice snuck out of the “hospital” and came to visit me in the bedroom. I guess it is time to make sure all possible enticing carbs are cleaned and hidden. She keeps trying to lick my cereal bowl.

But it’s really beautiful because it means she feels this well again. She used to be the alpha in the house.

+3 was 120.... seem like a big drop to you?

Here she is the in bed. <3

Up some Alice! Maybe a tap of MC to make sure she is safe while you’re gone.
 I never see your responses right away, I swear! Lol.

I fed her extra LC, thought maybe she just didn’t eat enough yet for the day. She stayed at a good place. +6 was back up to 96. Not the flattest curve for the cycle, but still pretty decent.... as long as she starts rising again like she is supposed to.

I’m toying with whether or not a “fat” version of 2u would be just right for her, at the moment.....?

So, I do need some help on working out an ideal sleep schedule at night right now for my needs. Not including jammie parties, because we know those will just plain happen sometimes no matter what!!!

Supposed to get up between 5-6AM ideally, drive 40 minutes, drop off human, can visit over at the location or come straight back. Come home. Alice shot. Daytime stuff in and out of house or completely home. Pick up human in the afternoon/evening. Today for example I will probably be home by 7 if I go straight back. Yesterday ran late. Pick up of human can be before or after shot time depending on what I choose. So basically..... what is the longest safest chunk of time Alice can typically go without being checked, in each cycle? Where can I fit in 5 solid hours for myself at night, and still do her shots do the driving do her tests do all the things??? Anyone? We are getting to bed a little too late, too, and mornings aren’t running on schedule best.
When do you sleep?

I also mentioned on some other thread Alice seems to have a spot that is irritating her and I don’t know why. Well now it seems to be the same area but the right side. She never snaps at me this way for touching her, so there certainly must be something bothering her......

Thoughts??? It’s sort of around the bone where my finger is pointing.

Looking at your SS, Alice seems to often nadir at +5/+6, or close enough you'd have an idea where she's headed. Could you Shoot at 6 before leaving, you'd be home in plenty of time to catch your +2 or +3, and at night you might be able to head to bed by (gasp)11 or midnight! A dream, no? Except for PJ par-tay, of course. And late afternoon to do stuff.

Willow is usually an early girl, which is awesome. She dips at +9 but no lower than she starts, so sometimes I'll check then. We shoot at 7. Unfortunately, she doesn't eat by herself, so I set an alarm every night between +8-9 usually, to feed her in case she didn't wake us.

With love, nikki

Glad she came back up for you.

Maybe when she was recovering she was favoring a certain position that wasn’t normal for her and is readjusting now? Or has she jumped or anything like that recently? Animals can strain muscles just like people, although cats are usually pretty flexible.

I would keep the dose right at 2 units for now. This is only the 2nd cycle with it and it needs to get stable. Remember, it can take about 4-6 cycles for the depot to fill. If you alter it, you won't have a real clear picture of if the dose was good or not.

I am glad she did well for you while you were gone. :)

Does it seem to itch her?

I'm trying hard to learn to cut back testing lol.

Haha! :p me too. It’s awful. I want data and her ear looks so sad. So now I’m not always sure exactly where to cut back, which time not to test......

Anyway 6 sounds like possibly a pretty good idea....

Of course right now she is getting her shot at 9:55p tonight..... moving her back to 6 would take... 16 cycles? :banghead:

You’re right actually, she has been playing and moving more and she was so emaciated before, she lost all but the most essential muscle I am sure...... it appears to be on both sides now so that would make even more sense! Thank you so much for responding! I don’t know how I missed all the replies here. Sleep maybe.
