I am going out of town tomorrow but I will be back by evening, so I am going to increase Bear's insulin by .25 Sunday.
He is eating better and his demeanor has improved.
I haven't seen any difference in his BG since he is getting Gabapentin.

I got some new Insulin Syringes from Walgreens Pharmacy and they have a beveled needle has anyone noticed that they are harder to break through the skin?

I’m so glad he’s doing better. It’s very hard when our babies are so sick but he has a great nurse/mom.

I used Walgreens syringes for a very short time long ago. I can’t say I remember whether they weren’t as sharp as other brands but I wouldn’t be surprised. All syringes should have a beveled needle, though. You are inserting with the bevel up (facing the ceiling), yes? That will let the sharpest part of the needle go in first.

    have a great trip tomorrow.
