Good Morning L & L ~

Status Quo with the Bubster. He is maintaining on another small reduction down to .75 so far. These drops to 55 at +3 in the PM cycle make me a bit nervous so I got up at 12Am to check him and give him another small meal. He was 60 at +6 so that made me more comfy to go back to sleep.

Forrest: I put that boy outside first thing and of course he didn't leave the stoop. When he came back inside I gave him a spoonful of food and put him back out and he finally left to go do his thing. Whew. No messes at his food station this morning . Going to get a lower sided LB today and some more Attract Cat.

Good to see your day starting off in a positive way.......for the LB, wondering if there is too much litter making squatting hard to balance? This was one of Harley’s issues, so now it’s about 2” and along with the powder for constipation he hasn’t had an accident outside his LB in over a month..phew! Keep surfing Bubba

Isn't such relief to just have "normal" . So glad that all is well in the Bubba household this morning. Maybe this is the start of the turn-around for Forrest.

That is a good idea about the depth of the litter. I tend to pile it up. I will try reducing the amount. Thanks for that suggestion.

If reducing the amount of litter on Forrest’s new low-rise LB doesn’t catch on, maybe try pee pad in LB without any litter? That worked better for Old Bo when even the smallest amount of litter got to be too much for him

Went out to breakfast with a friend and then to buy a new lower sided LB and a new litter with no scent in case he is associating the box with pain. Fingers and paws crossed. Bubba is loving having the LB in the powder room so he doesn't have to go down to the basement. DH is not loving the litter box in the powder room.

EXACTLY! He's getting used to it now. I try to stay on top of the litter that creeps out onto the hall way. Oh what we do for these little beast. He is lucky I love him so much and that he's got the prettiest green eyes that melt my heart.
