Good Morning L & L ~

We hope everyone is doing well and has a lovely long weekend and takes time to give thanks to our service people who gave their lives in the call of duty. :bighug:

Today, is 2 years exactly that Bubba was DX with Feline Diabetes. Oh, what a ride he has had with ketones, on and off the juice and, cancer of the eye. He is enjoying his 3rd tour of duty on OTJ and enjoying being outside again in the fields looking for a mouse or two or under a tree or shrub acting as a decoy waiting for a bird.

If he would be happier inside , I would be happier. Last week he threw up a 4 inch tapeworm  so he and Forrest are on a regime of natural de wormers..... It is just another negative of his outdoor capers but, we have a very happy cat again. It's a trade off.

And without FD I would have never met all of you . This really is the "Best Place Your Never Wanted to Be" I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Hey Bobbie !!!! What a wonderful and loving momma Bean you are. My prayer is that Bubba stays at the falls FOREVER :)....and yes, a huge thank you to all those who serve , both military, police , firefighters and first responders. God bless and protect those who protect us :)

Wonderful to hear Bubb's is a happy cat :cat::cat: chasing birds and catching mousies. Love the picture of the big boy. I'd probably vomit after seeing the tapeworm and hope it the last one for a while.

Happy Annifursary! Keep enjoying your life at The Falls, Bubba. And congrats to you, Bobbie !

What are you using to worm him?
It's HomeoPet Feline WRM CLEAR. The only problem with homeopathic is that it takes longer and more doses. He will get 3 doses a day for 14 days. ( it's liquid and I put it in the food) The in 2 months I give 3 doses a day for 7 days as a preventive and then repeat that every 60 days. The treatment does not kill the tapeworms but rather creates an environment that they can not live it and the helps the cats immune system to remove them from the body. The follow up every 60 days will prevent them.

Two years! We were "newbies" here, together.:) I have made so many friends and learned so much in those two years, I am truly thankful for all of you!

I love the picture of Bubba "in his element", lol! :D

I could not have said it any better, Beth!

A slice of sugar free cake for all the FD kitties to celebrate Bobbie & Bubba!!!!! We all appreciate everything you have done to encourage and help our kitties!!!!! Fritz and I say thank you from the bottoms of our hearts! Bubba you are one heck of a kitty!!!! Yuk on the tapeworm darn fleas.....

Lol on you taking a picture of the tapeworm! When we first found Rex as a stray on Halloween, we brought him home so I could find his owners. I found out he was already declawed in front and neutered so he had to have owners, right? No luck. During that time, I had to bring him in twice because he had tapeworms that took 2 rounds of meds to kill. Oh, the memories!

Happy Annifursary, Deputy Bubba! I hope you caught a few mouserls for your Annifursary treat. I'm a little late for the celebration, but I've baked you a Cimmamum Annifursary Cake with Catmint Icing and will sent it over to you today.
Yo, man! Ya did good!! But stay away from those tapeworms, OK?

Awwww, congratulations Bubba!

As to being an inside outside kitty, well, happiness is the most important part of life for a cat.

It's almost two years for Murphy too - but he has made no progress at all in his feline diabetes - he's still all over the place and when I test him, I have no idea what number I'll be getting Now I am depressed

If no one else wants to see it - I'd like to see the 4" tapeworm

Happy Anniversary Bubba and Bobbie!
And many many years ahead OTJ! Heaps of vines that Third time continues to be charm fur Bubba.
Beautiful photo ❤ He looks absolutely regal and what a great place to survey his realm including the scurriying about out busy mousies. Unlike Simon's Cat in "field trip." :)

Feel the same way about being here. Very thankful. Quite magical that fd and our cats have guided us to find and support each other here through travail and joy. ❤

Uck about the tapeworm but how wise of Bubba to "alert" you to it! Unless you want to share your photo for parasitic edification for folks unfamiliar with tw's.... ;) ! I doubt I'll ever forget the sight of a tw. Years ago, when the complement were youngsters, found one in one of the LB's. Covering all the bases to deworm a household of then six rambunctious cats was quite an experience!
Happy days and no more tw's, Bubs!
