Good Morning L , B & L ~

Status Quo with the Bubster. He was prolific hunting yesterday and momma got two mice away from him. He gets a little treat when we trade. Raining day today so he's inside and only one hour to play this morning before I went and got him.

OT: Forrest let me sleep in till 5:50 AM. I usually get up at 6AM to T/F/S so it was wonderful. He is really slowing down eating, and having trouble jumping up into the window sill. This morning I heard him falling backwards and I had to help him. Poor boy.......

So that's why he catches them. He wants his treats. Smart boy.

 

Bubba is a super mouser!!! Poor Forrest, but glad he let you sleep a little later!

 

Trading mice for treats

 

He still goes back to the spot he dropped the mouse in after I give him the treats. Yesterday, he laid down next to the spot for a while and I imagined he was waiting for the dead mouse to return..........

 

At least he kills them before bringing them home. My cats go next door and bring huge field mice/rats home alive to play with!

 

I couldn't do the rat thing.........although they do make nice pets they say. Very people oriented. Guess that's why they set up shop near humans.

 

As long as it's not SPIDERS!!!!

 

Bubba has trained you very well Bobbie! He catches a mousie and gets a treat!
