I've been contemplating cooking for Moey and Ittle ( 2 sugar babies...1 in remission). I would be using E-Z complete and doing the crockpot method, as I'm not entirely comfortable with raw feeding. I would be sourcing meat from the local grocery store and perhaps some farms(availability/cost). I know organic is the best. However, finances play a huge role and organic is seldom on sale. Thoughts, guidance and advice appreciated. Just point me in a "new to cooking for your kitties" friendly direction. TIA

Here is worthwhile read up for you about cooking cat food by Our FDMB Vet Lisa Pierson on her https://catinfo.org/making-cat-food/
Also read the start chapter on Feline Nutrition.

She saved the life on my Simba already the very first day we came here in January 18, 2008.
