Felix has been having a nice little surf today.

Today I was startled when I was sitting near the window and suddenly a face appeared just on the other side of the glass. A deer was looking in. The civvie in the window seat was not startled, but just looked at it like, "Do you mind? You're blocking my view of the bird feeder."

Woah.. nice numbers!! Gotta love wild life- no boundaries for them!! So beautiful to get the chance to be that close and admire their awesomeness. I’ll never understand how people can hunt down a living creature minding its own business. I’m not a vegetarian and so I feel guilty when I eat meat - sort of like buyers remorse in a sense. .

Hmmm...Mav went running off around the same time with his snorkel gear and his speedos , glad to see Felix is having a good day. How sweet, I'd love to have a deer up that close. I see them on my walks all the time, but the most excitement we get in our back yard are squirrels, crows, magpies and the occasional skunk
