As far as we know Max didn't go as low yesterday as she has the past few days. She got her PM shot (first day in the last six that's happened) and was in the greens this morning.

She's also eaten a relatively large breakfast, which is excellent

I was out @ +3 and she's down to 52 / 2.9 @ +4, so we've just fed her again, and will check in 30 mins.

I'm still waiting on the syringes from the UK with the 0.5 markings - they should be here in the next couple of days, hopefully

 

Even if Customs lets them through they're not going to help much with a .1 dose. I think there's a picture around somewhere but a common way to do that one is to hold the plunger in firmly, insert it into the lantus cartridge and then let go of the plunger. The vacuum will cause a drop to get sucked up into the syringe.

The way she's going you might be done before they arrive anyway!

I can see they will help my tired eyes with measuring the 0.25 IU though - and maybe if Max does well we can pass some of them on to someone local

Better today, thanks Bron. She's eaten some of the mince along with a fair bit of canned food.

 

She came very close to earning another reduction. I except that to happen real soon.

 

Her +9 BG is 71 / 4.1 - and she asked for more food

 

I'm thinking the SEB slurry is working its magic..

It's really good to see her eating a more normal amount of food again, Bron. Of course, tomorrow she will probably turn her nose up at everything I offer, but overall, she's doing much better.
