I need to test Rocky's urine pH and read that test strips are only approximate, not very accurate.
I'm wondering how urine pH is measured in a laboratory. At the vets they told me they use test strips.
Do you know anything about this issue or have any experience with it? Do you use a pH meter?
Rocky's urine pH is 7.5 and the vet insist that it is ok but Rocky has urinary problems and my research led me to the information that this is too alkaline as healthy cat's urine should be more acidic (6 -6.5).
Would love to hear about your experiences.
