Yes, I think that would be wise, at least at amps if they remain in the pinks. (2.5?). At pmps, if you get lower yellows, maybe stick with 2.25?

I'm not a dosing expert so I defer to Sue. Sounds like good advice.

    I agree with Sue's advise. :)

    Pink (16.7 untill 22.1) 2.5U
    Yellow (11.2 untill 16.6) 2.25U

You could be seeing a bounce from the 86 two days ago

Do you mean he could going to bounce now due the increase or do you mean this is still a bounce from the 86

I believe she meant this could still be a bounce.

Hi Fabienne- yes, I meant it could still be a bounce from the 86 - frequently bounces from a low number can last for 2-3 days

Hi Fabienne - I looked at your spreadsheet - I think you should put 223 in for your amps - and put the 182 in your +11 from last night and add a note there - It is always confusing to me as well, but putting in the actual number when you gave the insulin is what is needed (I think)
Terry is looking good, and is definitely responding - good deal!!

Haha Fabiënne was doing that before but the Dutch forum said to change it to the first test and the rest of tests (after stalling) put it in the remarks

Oh, sorry for the conflicting advice - but this is what I was told on the Lantus forum - it's easier to know the response to the insulin dose - but I agree, it is confusing

Hahah it should be even better if our kitties won't let us have to test them more than once ;)

Tonight I'm going to start a new bottle of Prozinc. Can the effect be larger than with the old one? Do I need to adjust the dose for it or just monitor him?

Could you explain to me what it means when he is " surfing" ?
It's a question from the dutch forum. I told them that when he stays in the same numberrange and doen't drop much you call that surfing. But why does that happen? Is there a reason for it?

Surfing is a term we use when a cat is at the same level over several hours during a cycle - not dropping much, not rising, much, just surfing along. I can see why the Dutch forum might not have a mental picture for this - not much surfing there. When a surfer catches a good wave, it carries him along for a while.

Haha indeed no surfing there! Only Lantus and Caninsulin were they don't like to surf on ;)
Only Terry has been surfing and Baco has also in the past!
