dry food link to diabetes / artificial sweeteners

Two sites I came upon and decided to lump them together in the same thread.
The first is a study linking dry food with feline diabetes. Looks pretty long and scientific. Thanks to member Helena and Gandalf.
The second site is about artificial sweeteners / cats and dogs. Despite what I've been told we have had two cats with a "Sweet tooth." Pretty drastic wording like toxic, poison, liver failure.
I see the last word in the second site is poop. Not my idea of a joke.
