I think I need to treat the new kitties for fleas...I am noticing a lot more scratching. They are 6 months old, and the package says it's ok for kittens over 8 weeks.

I know many people here have multiple cats. I am wondering if it's ok to put the Advantage topical solution on the kitties when they lick and groom each other all the time. I'm just worried they will lick it off and get sick.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have used advantage on all of my crew for years with no ill effects- and they all groom and sleep together.

not sure about advantage but as far as age i can address that :)

i just took in two stray kittens to the vet and she estimated them at about 13-14 weeks old and she treated them with a baby dose as she called it of Revolution. so as far as treating them young, sounds like it's ok. and by baby dose i think she used half a tube on each one was all

I guess I'll go ahead with the "baby dose"....and see how it works.

Separate them until the fur around the area dries, ok? They shouldn't lick it when wet.
