My Gucci Kitty wasn't eating very well, so I decided to try to find some wet food and let him try it. (He'd never had it...) I went to the pet food store, and read through all the labels on the food, and the most protein I'd found was 12%-most of them were 9% or less. So, I left without getting any. But when I look at Dr. Lisa's list, it states a much higher protein percentage for the same food. Is crude protein (which is listed on the can labels) different from what's posted in the food charts? I was looking for something with >50%protein, 20-40% fat, and 1-2% carbs. After coming home and looking at the list, there were several options I could have gotten.

Dr Lisa’s chart shows %calories from protein, fat and carbs and is based on the as fed values (more exact numbers) rather than the crude values.
