Very nice Garfie. That's the way to do it Rebecca, don't panic (easier said than done), give just a smidge of food and retest. That 108 is a normal number. Good job catching it.
 
I guess you could call me over protective or nuts or even crazy but I get up 2 times during night just to check cause with garfie you never know I swear he likes seeing mommy panic. I think I'm getting better at it at least I hope I am. Will do anything for my boy
 
We've all done it. I think the first time (no 1st was unknown hypo) so next time previous kitty hit a blue I overloaded him with maple syrup. Big did he have a sugar high. You will get better at the whole thing. If you can having an automatic feeder comes in handy. So if they tend to get a bit to low kitty will go looking for food. You time the feedings when you have enough data to know when that time might be. With Olive she gets a +6 meal and a +8 of 9 snack. The first 3 hours of each cycle she gets the majority of her food. If course there are surprise days like today where I was off her schedule but it happens.

Hang in it does get easier and sometimes quite exciting.
 
He gets breakfast at 6am then snack before I leave for work at 7am. Then nothing till I get home he then gets supper at 1800 hours then bedtime snack at 2000 hours. Garfie has a civvie so leaving food down won't work. If I can I leave work fly home take reading and feed but that's not all the time
