Happy to have #290 but??????

8:00am 290 3.5 units
I over slept and thought I would wake up to high 300's or 400's
I am thrilled but perplexed did this dose carry over and work longer? Or is it just something that happens from time to time?
I was also wondering if I should have lowered his am dose ? I didn't I thought I better keep it the same and monitor all day, I'll do mid cycle checks and see what Mr. Fritz is up to....
I really try to keep on a tight schedule with his dosing....
