Hello my cat Baby girl was diagnosed about 2 months ago. She is 8 years old. Have been giving her lantus 2units 2 times a day 5a.m. 5 p.m. and eats Friskys or fancy feast wet food in 4 small meals.1.5 oz each. Today her blood sugars were all below 120 so no insulin given could she be in remission?

    Hi Julie,

If you're using a human meter then BG under 120 is in the normal range. Baby girl could indeed be heading for remission (difficult to know with so little data). How long is it since she had a dose of insulin? Also are you doing any mid-cycle tests to see how low her current dose is taking her? If yes, it would be helpful if you could post the numbers.
