Holding my breath with every BG. Paws crossed.
He came with the name, but it fits. He's been driving me nuts. He wakes up early, 4 - 5 am, jumps up on my bed, "pats" my head and meows in the most pitiful way. I burrow deeper, the pats become a little more forceful, until sometimes he thwacks! He wants the old routine, to go outside, pee on something, come in and have breakfast. There was always dry food down, now with earlier dawn he thinks his personal bean servant should get up and fix some grub. He has to wait till 6 for BG and food. Sigh, I am tired.Good to see moving in the right direction............love the name, btw!
Told you I was tired I fixed it.Happy Day 7, Idjit!
(Hi Idjit's mom. You forgot to put Idjit's name in the title!)
I am happy, got a +6 of 106, but it's mostly blues, few greens. I don't really know if this is ideal, adequate or as good as it gets. It's just been a little over three weeks since dx, and I didn't do a proper dose reduction.I bet u r a very proud bean!!! Congrats, you go idgit!

You might consider a programmable timed feeder and set it to offer a mini-meal for 3 hours before breakfast...besides potentially letting you sleep uninterrupted it may bring the AMPS down.He has to wait till 6 for BG and food. Sigh, I am tired.
Actually I brought that up yesterday talking with DH, who gets his share of the early morning routine. I have been looking at the feeders see what might work. Thanks for the suggestion. Also looking into changing to different strips, or using a human meter, I don't like not being able to get strips immediately if needed, and of course, the price. You might consider a programmable timed feeder and set it to offer a mini-meal for 3 hours before breakfast...besides potentially letting you sleep uninterrupted it may bring the AMPS down.
