I'm going to bring home a couple of kittens in August. I'm using unsented Scoop Away litter for Dottie. I've read that clumping litter is not safe for kittens and maybe not even for older cats. I switched to it several years ago and I like it better than regular clay litter. Please give me some thoughts on this. I'd like to keep using the clumping stuff, but it isn't safe than I'll go back to the clay stuff.

I would never use anything but an unscented clumping litter and I have used it with kittens as young as 6 weeks of age and definitely for all kittens by the time they are 8 weeks of age.
