So, I left some MH carb food down as a precaution when I left for work, quite a bit is gone but have no way of knowing which cat ate and IF it was over an hour ago (which would be ok) but if she ate more recently, how does that affect her +11 number and pmps number? I know the rule is no food 2 hours before pmps and shooting....

I'm nervous about shooting this low for the firs time, but don't have to leave for work for about 4 hours, so will test every hour until then and hope I made the right decision. I don't get why she's not higher after no shot last night? Could this be a sign of remission? Wishful thinking, I'm sure.....

113 @+3... another small snack.. 8% with a spot of 15% gravy... tiny amount.. will test again at +4 and do it again and leave some 9% out, sound good??
And thanks!!!

If she’s reacting like this to .5, wouldn’t .25 be better for her? Forgive my ignorance if that’s a dumb question, I’m still a newbie!!

I'm impressed!! You're getting a bit of confidence a lot sooner than I did!
Has Jade always watched movies? That is so cute. Might need to get her some computer glasses for her pretty eyes :D

Do'in Great! Hang in there.:)

Her brother started watching first... now she does! Hope your day is going well!!

Not unless she earns the reduction by dropping below 68

She's doing great!! Nerve-wracking, but great!! I wouldn't be surprised if she's headed in the direction of remission!
Omg! Woot! Here’s my follow up question to that, today I fed her periodically to maintain her #’s so how would I know if she would have dipped to that #?

next time, TRY feeding her regular low carb food instead of going with something higher carb...as long as you're home and able to test, you can always change to a high carb food if you need to, but while you can, try other foods to see how she does

Ok... I knew I had to go to work, so I couldn’t today.
Thanks!!

I would have tried her regular low carb at +2.....and tested again at +2.5....that would have still left you enough time

You always have the option of leaving down a smorgasbord of high carb foods if you have to.....we call it "aborting the cycle"
Thank you!
