Morning!

I haven't had to purchase Lantus in a couple of years. Cost has gone up! Has anyone found that a particular free drug discount card offers better savings than another? I have printed up several and hope I have a winner in the pile. If one works best for you, please share which website to go to for access.

Thanks,
Donna

1) Check our Supply Closet
Or
2) Order from Mark's Marine pharmacy in Canada - about 1/3 the US cost. Requires Rx from vet - just have vet fax it in to 1-877-888-9805. Note: shipping during very cold or very hot periods may be tricky as Lantus cannot get too cold nor get too hot.
Or
3) Check your local Craigslist, and be careful about where you meet, how the insulin has been stored, and check the expiration date.

Have you tried Costco? You don't have to be a member to get your prescriptions there. Their price is often lower than other pharmacies, but they don't take coupons.

I think most of us are just buying from Marks Marine in Canada since all the discount cards seem to offer little in the way of significant savings (or don't work at all)

All the info on Marks is in the "Insulin from Canadian Pharmacies" thread

They really are great and since the time we started using them, I've heard nothing but great reviews from everyone who's used them. It takes about a week from the time you order for them to arrive at your home

I think that most of the discount cards no longer work for pet insulin prescriptions. The pharmacies need a code they can only get from an rx from a dr, not available from a vet. Some pharmacies have workarounds they use still so you will have to just see what your pharmacy does.
