Loose Lips: Stephanie is 8 Weeks Old!

Alright all you aunties, here's the thread that has been requested!

Miss Stephanie is 8 weeks old today! She is doing great! Pretty good sleeper, eating well, gaining weight well. She is a sweet baby and her big brother LOVES her. He is always wanting to give her kisses (usually when she's asleep). And he's always asking to hold her..."I hold it!" Her name is a little hard for him to say so right now he calls her Baby Sister ("Matt Matt's baby sister!").

We did have a little scare about 4 weeks ago. She caught some virus and ended up in the hospital for 2 days on an IV, getting fluids, antibiotics and being observed. It was touch and go there for about 24 hours as her fever kept climbing and not coming down with Tylenol. I was not happy! But once the fever broke it didn't go back up, which was unexpected according to the nurses. (PSA: it's cold and flu season, wash your hands! Get your flu shot! You can protect those who are susceptible to getting sick! *end PSA*)

Anyway, she is doing great now. As requested, I'm attaching some pictures for you all to ooh and aah over.

Thank you!! They are what we get up in the morning for. To say we've been blessed is an understatement.

Suzanne - fantastic to hear from you! Sorry to hear about the virus scare with Stephanie. Love the photos of the kids. The SuperKids look adorable and I just knew Ella would have to comment on the one with the Mets. Matty sure is growing up. I'm sure Cobb is proud of your family too.

Awesome pictures! Thanks for sharing - I had seen some on FB but not all of them. They are beautiful, precious children and yes, you are blessed. It goes by so quickly - enjoy every moment, even when you want to pull out your hair and run away screaming! lol.

Thanks so much for sharing the pics. What a lovely family. Good to know that all is well with you, despite that scary incident. Thank goodness she recovered with no lasting issues.

Now you'll have to post updates regularly so we can watch them grow! We've missed you and the family.

 

Beautiful family! I'm glad to hear it was just a "scare." Thanks for the photos and the update. Like Tricia said, you can't just tease us with the news once!

 

I will post periodic updates for you all!! It's nice to have such a wonderful community I can return to, even if I am still catless. Perhaps we'll change that one day. I'm hoping one of these kids ends up wanting a cute little kitten! Matt saying no to them hasn't gone so well so far! Shocking...I know.
